Get anything free online - videos, music, movies, TV!

As we move into a new year, Ascend IT Services is issuing a 'freebie guide' for you to get your teeth into.  Ranging from movies and music to videos and software, here's our list of the goodies that are waiting to be exploited on the web - all free!

TV AND VIDEO
BBC iPlayer
Download the BBC's Iplayer and you'll have access to programming from the last month.

The BBC has stored past documentaries and news programmes in it's archive for you to watch again.  These programmes can be searched for with subject matter for example.

MSN Video Player
Some BBC shows that are more than 30 days old, but not old enough to be put in the archive may be on here.  Programmes like Spooks can be caught up here.

Blinkbox
Blinkbox is primarily a pay site for new movies, but there are a selection of old movies for free.

Primarily short films and vignettes, nevertheless there are a large number of interesting documentaries that are hard to find anywhere else

Amazon
There are countless freebies to be had using Amazon.  Visit the homepage, then go to Kindle in the top left-hand navigation bar and then click on Kindle books.  Then there is a link for free book collection.

Project Guttenburg
This was one of the first free sources of ebooks started many years ago.  There are now over 36,000 books at its disposal.
