Reaper AMD Bulldozer 4.2Ghz - FreshTech Solutions Ltd - £239.66

If you want some value for money with a Christmas Gaming PC purchase then this offer from FreshTech Solutions Ltd may be up your street. At £239.66 you have the basic elements in place apart from the OS and GPU which I already bought separately. My personal spec was the Reaper as shown, combined with my copy of Windows 7 64-bit and the Sapphire HD 7750 GPU.

The computer came within the 3-5 delivery time specified. The case is an understated black with a mesh like front grill. It's nothing spectacular but it feels solid and looks decent. Here are the other specs -

As mentioned, the Sapphire HD 7750 was added as the graphics card. The result is a very nice and nimble gaming rig. If you're the sort of person that amps everything to ultra and wants to get every last drop of juice out of the system, then this system isn't for you. But the default clock setting of 4.2Ghz combined with the rest of the setup ensures that you have a very decent gaming rig for the price. Games tested have been Crysis 2, Dishonored, Witcher 2, Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 and FIFA 13. All games had absolutely no issue in the graphical department. Added to that is the huge 1TB hard drive space and 8gb of DDR3 1600mhz RAM and what you have is a real deal.
