Networking Problems

One of the easiest ways to solve certain network problems, particularly if the services have failed, is to reset winsock.

To do this open up a command prompt, preferably running it as administrator is case dos asks you to run any commands in elevated mode.  Then type 'netsh winsock reset'.  After rebooting the machine, the network services may have resumed (Wireless and Wired) and other services may have corrected themselves as well
